Power Supplies and Switches
Tableau products share common power supply requirments, so customers don't need to own different power supplies for each Tableau product. Tableau also manufactures stand-alone power switches to provide a clean way to turn individual bridges and devices ON/OFF during a forensic examination.
Tableau TP2 Power Supply

The new, slimmer and lighter Tableau TP2 Power Supply replaces its predecessor, the TP1. The TP2 is compatible with all of Tableau's Forensic Bridges and Accelerators. For most customers, a complete forensic kit need only include one or two TP2 power supplies.
The TP2 is compatible with power standards worldwide, accepting a 100-240VAC input and providing regulated +5VDC and +12VDC outputs, each rated at 2A. The TP2 uses the international IEC "figure 8" style power plug, making it compatible with inexpensive IEC-compatible AC line cords worldwide.
Tableau sells the TP2 under two part numbers. Part number "TP2" includes the power supply and a 6' US-style IEC line cord. Part number "TP2-NC" includes only the power supply itself. Most of our international resellers purchase TP2-NC and provide IEC-compatible line cords as appropriate for their own markets.
Tableau TP3 Power Supply

The TP3 is a high-output version of Tableau's standard TP2 power supply. Where the TP2 is designed to power a single Tableau forensic bridge and hard disk, the high-output TP3 is designed to power the Tableau TD1 duplicator and two hard disks.
The TP3 is compatible with power standards worldwide, accepting a 100-240VAC input and providing regulated +5VDC and +12VDC outputs, each rated at 4A. The TP3 uses the international IEC "figure 8" style power plug, making it compatible with inexpensive IEC-compatible AC line cords worldwide.
Tableau includes the TP3 in the TD1 kit, and also sells the TP3 separately under two part numbers. Part number "TP3" includes the power supply and a 6' US-style IEC line cord. Part number "TP3-NC" includes only the power supply itself. Most of our international resellers purchase TP3-NC and provide IEC-compatible line cords as appropriate for their own markets.
Tableau T2 Power Switch

The Tableau T2 is an updated and improved version of Tableau's earlier T1 power switch. The T2 sits inline between a Tableau TP1 power supply (or a standard PC power supply) and a device (e.g., a hard disk) and switches +5VDC and +12VDC. Using the T2, you can safely connect and disconnect a device from a power supply without having to turn OFF the power supply. The T2 also includes LEDs to indicate whether voltage is present on either or both sides of the switch. No forensic kit bag should be without a T2!
