Search computer for histories
The product allows you to search a whole hard drive for all supported types of browsers:
•All drives or particular ones may be selected
•You can select a particular folder to search through
•Histories to be looked for may be limited to a particular types (e.g. Firefox files only)
•It is possible to manually select a history to analyze
Analyze found histories
The product does all the analysis with two mouse clicks:
•No password required
•You do not have to be logged under a history owner
•URLs, cookies and passwords are retrieved
Explore extracted histories
The product shows extracted URLs and cookies in a user-friendly form as follows:
Within the user interface, you can:
•See all available histories and their extraction status
•See URLs and cookies belonging to a profile
•Sort by time and URL text
•Apply filtering
•Search history. Do simple searches through history and advanced searches using a file with a set of words to look for. Experienced users can take advantage of searching by regular expressions, which is ideal for searching for templates or phrases with fuzzy structure
Cache visualization
When a user goes to a site in the Internet, their browser downloads files from that site locally to make the subsequent loading of the same site faster. This is called "caching". A user folder usually contains a lot of cached files which can be examined. Belkasoft Browser Analyzer (Ultimate edition) can visualize a cached site exactly as it was seen by a user. This can be important if the actual site does not exist anymore or has been changed.
Cached pictures can be an important source of valuable information. The product supports images export from cache to a selected folder for further examination.
Export history
After completing history extraction, you can export history of interest in a readable format. The product allows you to:
•Export history to plain text, HTML and XML
•Limit exported histories to selected dates
The report can be burned onto a CD and given away.
