ActivitySensor™

ActivitySensorTM is a breakthrough technology allowing our users to maximize the chances of finding evidence in a short amount of time. This technology comes standard with all of our tools.

How does it work?
ActivitySensor starts by building a list of relevant folders that will be scanned, in priority order. To identify these relevant folders, several operating system and file system artifacts such as timestamps, link files, and others are collected and analyzed.

The scan then starts with the first these active folders. If no matches are found, the next active folder is scanned. If a match is found in an active folder, then the subfolders and folders at the same level are added to the list of active folders to scan as a priority.

Using ActivitySensor makes it possible to find evidence in a matter of minutes instead of hours.
